Craps bets - place bets
After a point has been established on
the come-out roll you can then make a place bet in the
following manner.
If you think that before the next 7 is rolled that
there will be a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 rolled you may
place a bet on any or all of those numbers by telling
the dealer you want to place that number. The dealer
will then take your money and put it on the number you
want to place.
Place bets are not normally working on the come out
roll, unless you specifically request that they be active.
Place bets are made in increments of £5 for all
but the numbers 6 and 8, which must be in increments
of £6 due to the payouts.
Place bets pay different odds depending on the number
you place.

You can bet on a place at any time and as soon as that
number comes up you win, or if a 7 comes up you lose.
You also have the option to withdraw a place bet off
anytime you wish. Generally, unless you have an amazing
vision of the future, the house edge makes this type
of bet a fairly fast loss-maker.
