Craps bets - don’t come bets
Don’t come bets aren’t particularly
popular, which is probably why the space afforded them
on the layout is not particularly large. They work in
the same way as don’t pass bets, except that they
can be placed at any time after the point number has
been established, as opposed to immediately before the
come-out roll.
On the come-out roll of a don’t come bet, a roll
of 7 or 11 means you immediately lose your bet, while
a 2 or 3 means an immediate win. If a 12 is rolled,
it is a standoff.
As with don’t pass bets, the player can lay an
additional free odds bet on the don’t come bet.
The payoffs for odds bets on don’t come bets are
the same as for don’t pass bets and vary from
point number to point number, depending on the odds
of a 7 being rolled before a specific point is repeated.
The payoff formula is the same whether you take single
odds, double odds, or more.

Unlike come bets, don’t come bets and associated
odds bets are working all the time, even on the main
come-out roll. If the 7 comes up on the come out roll,
then all the don’t come bets are winners, as are
the free odds bets laid against the numbers.
Don’t come bets are best placed when there is
a cold run of dice, with numbers rarely repeating themselves
and 7 coming up regularly.
